Christie Pesicka

Christie Pesicka came to LA amongst 30 students, chosen from across the nation, with an "Arts" scholarship to study film. During this program, she worked for Barry Josephson (Men in Black II, Wild Wild West) at Disney Studios. Post scholarship, Ms. Pesicka went on to crew on various films and television programs, primarily in the camera department.

Pesicka is a one-woman film crew and then some. She wrote, directed, produced and costarred in her latest independent film Paperdolls. Pesicka has served as an executive producer at Cornukopia Entertainment where she has been honed her skills as host by interviewing oodles of top name film industry talent. Cornukopia's recently completed Film Trix series features her own unique coverage of the 2002 and 2003 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. For the 2002 segment Pesicka interviewed Parker Posey, Kyra Sedgwick, Mira Sorvino, Benicio del Toro, Pete Jones (Project Greenlight) and many more. For the 2003 segment Pesicka covered festival related parties and "on the street" filmmaker antics. In addition she held candid interviews with: Peter Fonda, Minnie Driver, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Matt Dillon, Mike Figis, Neil LaBute, Forrest Whitaker, Pauly Shore, and Lloyd Kaufman.

You will soon be able to see Pesicka's interview segments on the Lion's Gate DVD release of Detective Fiction and RSVP. She is currently in negotiation with the Sundance Channel, and the Independent Film Channel (IFC), who have also expressed interest in her work.

Now Pesicka faces her ultimately challenge- hosting Take 3, the game show about filmmaking. Her interpersonal skills and flamboyant demeanor will come into play as she tackles this new challenge head-on.
