Born into a family of Boston Sportswriters and Frialator Inventors, Ms. Whitmarsh strayed onto a path of creative writing and music, revering her family's heritage instead through school journalism, and eating fried food at Red Sox games. Convinced that the title "artist" was really Latin for "homeless", the madly sensible prodigy gave her family and friends a collective heart attack by earning her very inartistic Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing without a creative quill in sight. Less than two years into her nursing career and a big fan of ER, Whitmarsh decided that acting was really what she wanted to do and moved to Los Angeles. Thankfully for her family and friends' collective heart condition, acting led back to writing, followed by directing and producing, resulting in several screenplays, films, and the assorted smorgasbord of projects coming down the assembly line with Shotz brewery gloves on their heads as we speak.
